2008 NFL Mock Draft Round 3 Cont..: 4/24/2008

81. Arizona Cardinals: Dajaun Morgan, S, N.C. State

The Cardinals need help with their secondary so they take the best player available in the 2008 NFL Draft.

82. KC Chiefs: Thomas DeCoud, FS, Cal

The Chiefs pick up a player that is slowly getting better and better and looks to make an impact in 2008.

83. Tampa Bay Bucs: Chris Harrington, DE, Texas A&M

The Bucs get quite possible one of the most underrated DE’s in the 2008 NFL Draft.

84. Washington Redskins: Mike Pollak, C, Arizona St.

The get a very good Center in this Arizona State Trench beast.

85. Tennessee Titans: Mike McGlynn, OL, Pitt

The Titans need to replace their O-Linemen that both left and retired before the 2008 season.

86. Seattle Seahawks: Mike Hart, RB, Michigan

The Seahawks take a very underrated player here with Mike Hart.  Mike Hart is a beast and even though he is small he carried the Wolverines and could be a good RB in the 2008 season.  I think the Seahawks would have no problem using a third round pick on someone with such a great upside.

87. Detroit Lions: Oniel Cousins, OT, Texas E-P

The Lions add depth to their O-Line and help whoever is running get into the open field.

88. Pittsburgh Steelers: DJ Hall, WR, Alabama

Big Ben wanted a big receiver this year.  So the Steelers are nice and they get him a good sized guy in the third round that can make some plays.

89. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brad Cottam, TE, Tennessee

The Cottam is a very Big Tight End that can Block and catch the ball in the Red Zone.

90. Chicago Bears: DeMario Pressley, DT, NC State

The Bears work on increasing their D-Line.

91. Green Bay Packers: Tyvon Branch, CB, UCONN

The Pack adds some youth to their old CB’s.

92. Dallas Cowboys: John Sullivan, C, ND

The Boys get  an O-linemen for the future. Sullivan is a very good prospect in the 2008 NFL Draft.

93. Indianapolis Colts: Eric Young, G, Tennessee

Young would go a lot higher but he has been very injury prone and hasn’t been able to work out. If you don’t need an immediate replacement like the Colts then he is a great talent.

94. New England Patriots: Steve Slaton, RB, WVU

The Patriots get a proven speedster and screen back to replace the aging Kevin Faulk.

95. New York Giants: Marcus Howard, OLB, Georgia

The G-Men improve their LB’s for the 2008 season and look to get another championship.

96. Washington Redskins: Craig Seltz, S, LSU

A good player from a great program.  Seltz could help add depth to the DB’s altogether.  I know they got Landry in 2007 but these are two completely different players.

97. Cincinnati Bengals: John Carlson, TE, ND

This might be a little far for Carlson to drop because he is considered one of the best TE’s.  The thing is that he ran slow at the combine and their are questions about his ability to distance himself from the defense.

98. Atlanta Falcons: Jermichael Finley, TE, Texas

Proven player in a good program.  Will help the Falcons and maybe start right away as the second TE in the 2008 season.

99. Baltimore Ravens: Tavares Gooden, LB, Miami

Very Good LB that is underrated. The Ravens are getting older at the LB position so they help themselves out here.  The later rounds of the 2008 NFL Draft is filled with the Ravens!
