2015 NFL Power Rankings Week 6

Week 6 NFL Power Rankings

By Tyler Lurkins

1. Seattle-Seattle maintains the #1 rank. Unless Dallas comes out with all guns blazing next week, expect Seattle here next week too.

2. Denver-Fox has the Ponies firing on all cylinders. Denver should have no issues at the Jets.

3. San Diego-San Diego looks very tough and face an easy Oakland team next week.

4. Green Bay-The offense is torching opposing teams. The defense is still spotty, but going to Miami shouldn’t be an issue.

5. Arizona-Losing to Denver isn’t hard to do. Arizona still looks solid with Stanton at the helm.

6. Cincinnati-Next week’s matchup against Carolina will show the world what the Bengals really have. They’ll need to recover from a New England whipping.

7. Detroit-It’s hard to ignore a loss at home to Buffalo. Will Johnson play next week against a fairly solid Minnesota defense?

8. Philadelphia-Philly will need to show more against the Giants to remain in the top 10 next week.

9. Indianapolis-Can the Colts defense repeat this week’s solid performance? Indy is a tough team, but still have a few glaring holes.

10. Dallas-Look out world, Dallas is on the move. However, Romo and company may come to a screeching halt in Seattle.

11. San Francisco-The Niners aren’t winning pretty, but St. Louis shouldn’t pose much of a threat next week.

12. Baltimore-Indy is no slouch by any means, but Baltimore must win games like these. Tampa is looking better, Baltimore needs a big game next week.

13. Kansas City-KC will have a needed bye week after a tough loss. It’s hard to ignore the talent on the roster.

14. New England-Brady leads the Pats to a huge win, but will need to show consistency to move up the rankings.

15. Atlanta-Atlanta hosts Chicago’s tough offense next week. Atlanta needs to hold firm and get a win.

16. Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh has their days. Cleveland isn’t the greatest, but won’t lay down for Pittsburgh.

17. Carolina-Will Cincy be a tough foe, or will the Panthers expose the same holes the Pats did.

18. Houston-Houston is a very solid team, but it’s hard to keep them high on a list with Fitzpatrick leading the way.

19. Buffalo-A massive win at Detroit doesn’t mask the QB controversy that Buffalo has. They need to rattle off a string of wins to make the top half of the power rankings.

20. Chicago-Chicago has the weapons, but can’t get the win. The defense is porous, and will need to be strong to make the playoffs.

21. New Orleans-Win or lose, the Saint’s defense isn’t cutting the mustard. They’ll need to use the bye week to figure out the issues.

22. Cleveland-Cleveland’s resiliency should be noted. They can vault up the rankings with a win against Pittsburgh.

23. New York Giants-The Giants really worked over the Falcons, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that they are winning against teams with question marks.

24. Miami-The ongoing drama in Miami keeps this team down. If the bye week improves the attitude, a win against Green Bay will shoot them up the power list.

25. Tampa Bay-Glennon is certainly making this team a tougher opponent. Tampa needs to put all the talent together to get a higher ranking.

26. Minnesota-One Bridgewater explosion won’t propel Minnesota forward. The Vikes need to dominate a couple of teams to move out of the cellar.

27. St. Louis-St. Louis is undisciplined and lacking leadership on the field. They will sneak out a couple wins here and there, but aren’t a fearsome team.

28. New York Jets-Geno isn’t the answer, neither is Vick. With no one to Captain the ship on offense, look for the Jets to continue to fail.

29. Washington-Is Cousins an improvement over RG3? This team still isn’t winning.

30. Tennessee-Tennessee has the O line, but the rest of the talent isn’t there yet.

31. Jacksonville-Jacksonville will play teams tough, but can’t climb over the mountain to get a win.

32. Oakland-Oakland is….well…..the Raiders.
