2013 NFL Draft top 5 Outside Linebackers (4-3)

 

  1. Jarvis Jones, Georgia-Super physical LB.  Shows great pass rushing skills.  Talented at taking down the ball carrier.  Improving at coverage.  Always plays in position.    Comparison:  Von Miller
  2. Barkevious Mingo, LSU-
  3. Arthur Brown, Kansas St.-Packs a huge punch.  Rarely misses a tackle.  Top of the line athleticism.  Proficient at shedding blocks.  To play outside in the NFL better coverage skills and smarter play will be needed.  To play middle, especially in a 34 D, needs to gain weight.  Comparison:  Will Witherspoon
  4. Sean Porter, Texas A and M-Ball hawking LB.  Skilled pass rusher.  Great burst and play diagnosis.  Will need to learn coverage skills.  Needs to be more consistent.  Best suited as 34 LB, but needs to gain weight and strength.   Comparison:  Sean Witherspoon
  5. C. J. Mosley, Alabama-Talented football player.  Safe and secure playmaker.  Lacks elite athleticism.  Has size, strength, and ability to play ILB in a 34 scheme.  Comparison:  Chad Greenway
