2011 NFL Mock Draft 43-52

43. Minnesota Vikings: Nick Perry, DE, USC

The Vikings have a beast in Jared Allen but they don’t have a full time pass rusher opposite him who can stay healthy. I believe Nick Perry could come in right away and help that already very good defensive line get better. He is a good defensive line prospect and if he works out well I would not be surprised if he was a late first round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

44. Detroit Lions: Greg Jones, ILB, Mich State

The Lions get a play maker in the middle of their defense with this pick in the 2nd round of my 2011 NFL Mock Draft. Jones is a very athletic interior LB who should definitely be a second round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft

45. San Francisco 49ers: Marvin Austin, DT, UNC

Austin was considered to be a top 10 pick before he had to sit out his entire senior season. Austin and Quinn are great players and both are falling because of this but I think the 49ers get a steal here because of Marvin Austin’s talent and ability to stop the run and pass.

46. Denver Broncos (MIA): Martez Wilson, ILB, Illinois (#1 ILB/OLB 2011 NFL Mock Draft Rank)

The Broncos continue to build their defense with this pick in the 2011 NFL Mock Draft. Wilson is considered to be a better athlete than football player and with this pick I think they get a very good player.

47. St. Louis Rams: Kenny Tate, S, Maryland

Tate is a very good safety prospect and he could help the Rams in the 2011 NFL Season. He is one of the top safeties in this 2011 NFL Draft and a top 5 rated safety in my 2011 NFL Mock Draft.

48. Oakland Raiders: Muhammed Wilkerson, DT, Temple

The Raiders get a very good Defensive Tackle in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft. A lot of people have him as a first rounder but I think due to the depth of the defensive lineman in this 2011 NFL Draft he falls a little bit.

49. Jacksonville Jaguars: Benjamin Ijalan, G/OT, Nova

I know the Jags took a couple of offensive lineman last year but you can never have too good or too healthy of an offensive line. I believe that he would be the correct pick in this 2011 NFL Mock Draft.

50. San Diego Chargers: Mark Herzlich, OLB, BC

The Chargers get a a good defensive player with a lot of heart out of this pick. Herzlich is not the best Linebacker with this pick in the 2011 NFL Draft but he is a motivational player. He overcame cancer and came back to be a very good player in College at a high level.

51. Tamp Bay Buccaneers: Jeremy Beal, DE, OU

The Buccaneers get a good Defensive end with this pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Beal did not have a great Senior Bowl because of his size and non-athletic build. The thing is he has a very strong motor and is pretty good defensive and was very productive because of his ability to move. I don’t see him as a first rounder but as a second rounder he could be a very good rotation player.

52. New York Giants: Bruce Carter, ILB, UNC

The Giants have Bullock for the time being but he is getting older and less agile. I have them taking a top tier Line Backer in Bruce Carter to help build the Giants as a younger defense.
