1. Detroit Lions: Russel Okung, OT, Ok State
The Detroit Lions are starting their Rookie QB in the 2009 NFL Season and I don’t think it is going to help their draft ranking. Look for the Lions to be drafting very high in the 2010 NFL Draft as well. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have them taking my #1 ranked OT in the 2010 NFL Draft.
2. Cleveland Browns: Eric Berry, S, UT
Eric Berry isn’t going to be a senior but his draft stock is most likely going to be soaring. A lot of people have compared him to Ed Reed and anyone in the NFL would take Ed Reed with this pick. The Browns would love to find a great player for their secondary in the 2010 NFL Draft. This 2010 NFL Mock Draft has him slotted as the best safety.
3. Kansas City Chiefs: Arrelious Benn, WR, ILL
The Chiefs let their TE Tony Gonzalez go and they don’t have a great WR core. I think taking a WR this hi is very scary but Benn is a very good WR and my top WR in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Look for Benn and Dez Bryant to fight to be the first WR off the board in the 2010 NFL Draft.
4. Tampa Bay Bucs: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
Carlos Dunlap is a freak athlete that can fly off the edge. He is my top D-Linemen in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and he is a great pass rusher. If the Bucs are picking here then they need a lot of help and that will start on the defensive line.
5. Seattle Seahawks (Denver): Sam Bradford, QB, OU
Sam Bradford is coming back in the upcoming week. Even though I had him falling a little bit he is my top QB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I believe Bradford is going to be the best QB to come and will have the potential to start in his first season.
6. St. Louis Rams: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Jimmye Clausen is my 2nd ranked QB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. He has been very good this year throwing the ball and also making decisions. I am not sure he will decide to enter the draft, but if he does I think he will be a top 10 Pick!
7. Oakland Raiders: Gerald McCoy, DT, OU
The Raiders Draft the top DT here in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft. McCoy is not only great against the run but he gets up the field well and is always in the backfield. He is fast enough to be used even as a 3-4 end in the 2010 NFL Season.
8. Seattle Seahawks: Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
The Seahawks don’t have a dominating Running back as of now. I have them getting their QB for the future with the 5th overall pick so they in turn get their running back with the 8th overall pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Dwyer is a big powerful back who will be a good complement to Julius Jones.
9. Washington Redskins: Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida
The Skins need a lot of help including a QB for the 2010 NFL Season. However, I have the top 2 qb’s already off the board. So I have the skins helping their interior defense out and waiting on a qb until later in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
10. Dallas Cowboys: Dez Bryant, WR, Ok State
The Cowboys have Roy E. Williams and Jason Witten and then no legitimate receivers after that. I think they need to address this for Tony Romo to have a shot to win the big game. I think that Jerry Jones would be willing to take Bryant here.
11. Buffalo Bills: Brian Bulaga, OT, Iowa
The Bills pick in the top 15 again in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. They chose not to take an OT in the 2009 NFL Draft and I think that will hurt them a lot in the 2009 NFL Season. Bulaga is one of the best OT’s in the 2010 NFL Draft. Look for him to be a great player in the 2010 NFL Season and to help the Bills out.
