12. Miami Dolphins: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
04/19/2010: The Dolphins are looking pretty good moving forward with the Brandon Marshal Trade. So with this pick I think they can take the best player available. In this scenario I believe the two options would be Morgan or Dan Williams. I have them going with Morgan because he can get pressure on the QB and he is a very polished defensive end in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
/15/2010: I had the Dolphins taking Dez Bryant with my past draft. However, I have them Jaguars taking him in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I have the Dolphins taking a defensive end in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft who is ranked as the top DE as well as the one with the most upside.
03/08/2010: I know the Dolphins drafted Ted Ginn Jr high in the draft and he didn’t pan out. However, Dez Bryant is a beast who can make all the big plays as well as be a true number 1 in the NFL. I think he will be a good WR to help develop a young QB in Chad Henne. Defensive lineman is another option with this pick in this 2010 NFL Draft pick.
03/03/2010: I had Pierre-Paul with this 2010 NFL Mock Draft pick last draft but I have him jumping because of his workout and upside. I think Morgan would be a good player with the Dolphins because he has the athleticism to play every scheme.
02/29/2010: I previously had the Dolphins taking Dan Williams with this pick but I now have Pierre-Paul falling so they get a steal with him. Pierre-Paul is considered by most to be the top 3-4 DE in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/15/2010: Dan Williams has a ton of upside in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. He is one of the top DT’s and is a very good prospect to get at 12. In any other draft he would be projected as a top 10 pick but because of Gerald McCoy and Ndamukong Suh he falls out of the top 10 in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft
13. San Francisco 49ers: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, USF
04/19/2010: The 49ers get a player that a lot of people see as having a lot of BUST potential. I think he has some bust potential but way more upside to him than nearly any other player in this draft. He only started for half a season and in that time he dominated. So I think he will be a good player to step in and make some plays. I had Spiller going to the 9ers before but with the pick up of Ginn I think that is a lot less likely.
03/15/2010: CJ Spiller is a very good running back and he has out performed any other RB so far with workouts. I had the 49ers waiting for him with their second pick in my earlier draft. Spiller is a great RB and the 49ers need to jump on him with this pick in the 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
02/15/2010: Bulaga is the pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I had Anthony Davis Prior to this but I have him jumping up draft boards because of all his upside. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have Bulaga jumping Trent Williams as the third Tackle.
02/05/2010 – Anthony Davis is a very good Left tackle and may very well be the second best in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I currently have him as my 3rd OT behind Okung and Williams but I definitely think he could jump them both. If he has a good showing at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine then I think he could definitely leap frog Williams.
14. Seattle Seahawks (Denver): CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
04/29/2010: The Seahawks get the far and away best RB in this 2010 NFL Draft. He not only can run the ball he can catch out of the back field and he is an amazing return man as well. They may be looking for a different position with this pick but if Spiller is here they may have to snag him to help that offense get moving.
03/08/2010: Derrick Morgan is considered to be the best overall DE in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Jason Pierre-Paul has a lot of upside but Morgan has a lot more experience at a higher level. Look for Derrick Morgan to be a top 15 draft pick.
02/15/2010 – Dez Bryant is a great athlete and I have him as the top offensive weapon in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. CJ Spiller and Dez Bryant are the top offensive weapons in this draft and both of them could go to the Hawks. In this 2010 NFL Mock Draft I have them taking Bryant because he is to good to pass up here with the 14th pick.
02/05/2010 – According to Dez Bryant and profootballtalk.com he can make uncatchable catches catchable….whatever that means. However, I think he is a very good received with a good build. I also think he could help a young QB develop and I think the hawks will take a QB somewhere in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft..
15. New York Giants: Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
03/21/2010: I previously had the Giants taking Spikes with this pick but his stock has plummeted. So I have them taking a very good DT with this pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. When they have been good it was due to their D-Line so I have them helping their D-Line with a very good DT.
03/08/2010: Spikes is a great tackler and good player. The thing is he didn’t work out well and a lot of people don’t see him as being a top ranked player. I think Spikes is still a very good player and would fit into this very good Giants defense well.
02/15/2010: Spikes is a beast in the middle but he has had problems with recognition and speed with some of his initial workouts. I think that the combine is going to be huge for Spikes because I think this will be the place where he either makes the first round or drops.
02/05/2010 – The Gmen are in an interesting situation going into the off season. They have lived and died by their defense and run game the last couple years and both of them struggled this year. So I think first off they need to build their defense and then look into RB’s because they could get a steal in the 2nd round of this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
16. Tennessee Titans: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
03/03/2010: Haden did not work out well at the combine almost running a 4.6 and a lot of scouts said he looked stiff at the hips. I think he is still a top 20 pick and if the Titans can get him with this pick in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft their secondary would be GREAT. Finnegan and Haden would be lock down corners for the 2010 NFL Season.
02/15/2010: I previously had Everson Griffen going in this spot I think the Titans may go after Derrick Morgan. He is a speed rusher off the edge who could be a very good player at the next level. The Titans biggest need is defensive end and I think Morgan could fill that void with this 2010 NFL Draft Pick.
02/05/2010 – The Titans are lucky this year with the Depth of defensive ends and defensive tackles because they are bound to get one of them. With this pick I believe they will take the best Defensive end on the board in this 2010 NFL Mock draft. The only thing that I think could change their mind is Rolando McClain because he is a beast in the middle and he could be the LB of the future for them for years to come.
17. San Francisco 49ers (Carolina): Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
03/15/2010: The 49ers get their much needed offensive tackle with this 2010 NFL Mock Draft pick. Davis is considered by a lot to be the 2nd ranked OT. However, after his workout and concerns that he doesn’t have a good workout I have him dropping a little bit.
02/29/2010: Spiller really helped himself at the 2010 NFL Draft Combine. Spiller ran a 40 under 4.30 and absolutely solidified himself as the top RB. He has the talent to run up the middle and catch the ball out of the back field. Don’t be surprised if he goes higher than this after his Combine showing.
02/15/2010: Spiller is one of the top RB’s in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and I have him going as the top 2010 NFL Mock Draft RB. I have him going to the 49ers because he is a steal with this pick and he would complement Frank Gore well. I think that he would be a great RB to go the 49ers to help with both the pass and run game.
02/05/2010 – Once again I know that the 49ers have a RB I just think that Spiller is an absolute steal with this pick. I didn’t like the Titans taking Chris Johnson in the first round either but he has ended up helping them so far…2k yards? I am not saying that Spiller is going to be Chris Johnson but I do think he is the top RB in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft and has all the moves and abilities to be very good in the NFL.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
04/18/2010: The Steelers traded away Santonio Holmes so they need a guy to replace him. I know Wallace looked good this past season but he hasn’t proven to be more than a #3 slot receiver. I think with Tate as the deep threat and Hines Ward filling in the middle this could be a good Combination to the scandalous Big Bad Ben to throw to.
03/10/2010: To the person who called me an idiot for Taylor Mays going in the top 20 I agree and disagree with you. I also think that he was stiff at the combine and he did not work out well and I would not draft him in the first round. That being said he is very athletic and someone is going to take a shot on him to early in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
03/08/2010: The Steelers have had a good defense and a lot of it was built around their Secondary. Troy P is a great player and Taylor Mays can play either safety position. He ran really well and could definitely be a top 15 pick after his combine workout.
02/05/2010 – I don’t know about Mays going this high after his ability to make reads at the senior bowl. However, his athleticism and ability to move and make big plays keeps him this high in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. I think if he match him up with a brilliant other safety like Troy P you could really get a fierce secondary.
19. Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St
The Falcons get and up and rising star with this pick. He is considered by most to be the second best CB in this 2010 NFL Draft. I have him ranked just ahead of Donovan Warren in my 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
20. Houston Texans: Earl Thomas, S, Texas
I Texans seem to draft defensive players every year…. but they all seem to end up being pretty good players and helping the team. I think Earl Thomas is the icing on the cake and can take this defense to the next level. I also think they could go Offensive Line with this pick or WR to help take some pressure off of Andre Johnson. However, I think Thomas is to good to pass on in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
21. Cincinnati Bengals: Taylor Mays, S, USC
)4/18/2010: The Bengals get a very good athlete here who falls a little because of his lack of production in his senior year.
03/20/2010: I previously had Damian Williams going with this pick but he didn’t run well and isn’t proving to be a first rounder. Golden Tate ran a sub 4.4 40 yard dash at the Combine and is a great run after the catch player. He will be able to spread the field opposite Chad Ocho-Cinco and help Carson Palmer as well.
22. New England Patriots: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
03/10/2010: The Patriots draft a big time player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. He has the ability to play rush DE, OLB as well as put his hand in the dirt and rush the passer. Brandon Graham is a very good player and he has a an ongoing motor and would be great with the Patriots defense.
03/05/2010: I think the Patriots may very well go defense with this draft pick so I have them taking a very versatile player in this 2010 NFL Mock Draft. They had trouble defending the pass this year and so I have them taking a player that has some down falls but is a great play maker and returner.
