33. St. Louis Rams: Mike Mickens, CB, Cincy
The Rans Need to improve every aspect of their game especially as far as their pass coverage goes. So I have them taking Mickens a very good QB in the 2009 NFL Draft.
34. Detroit Lions: Jeff Owens, DT, GA
Detroit lost Shaun Rogers to the Browns so they fill this hole with Jeff Owens in the 2009 NFL Draft season. The Lions need a lot of help and that starts with the big guys in the middle.
35. Oakland Raiders: Phil Loadholt, OT, OU
The Raiders have worked on boosting their O-Line but I think they still need to improve this aspect of the game. Loadholt is a good tackle in a good program that will be good in the NFL. With McFadden running behind the O-Line they really need to make sure it is as good as possible to try and be a power running house.
36. KC Chiefs: Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers
The Chiefs have a good WR in Dwayne Bowe and a good weapon with Tony Gonzalez. Look for the Chiefs to build their Offense and give some weapons to whoever is going to be the starting QB in the 2009 NFL Season.
37. Miami Dolphins: Brian Robiskie, WR, Ohio St.
Miami Traded away Chambers and Wes Welker just over a year ago and they really haven’t got any good receivers back other then Ted Ginn who is not yet proven. So I think the Dolphins look to get another good receiver and speedster. Robiskie is a good WR with good hands that will help a struggling offense in 2009.
38. SF 49ers: Greg Middleton, DE, IU
The 49ers decide to boost their D-Line with this pick to get pressure on the passer. Middleton could be a first round pick if he works out well in the 2009 NFL Combine so I am not sure if he is available here but if he is he will be taken here.
39. Cincinnati Bengals: Brandon Spikes, ILB, FL
The Bengals look so Bad right now and I think they may address the O-Line here because they need protection in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Bengals take Spikes here because he is a very good LB that could help boost their defense for the 2009 NFL Draft season.
40. Atlanta Falcons: Vidal Hazelton, WR, USC
The Falcons have given Matt Ryan wide receivers Roddy White and Michael Jenkins which isn’t much help if you ask me. So the Falcons take a WR here and hopefully he pans out to help them with the 2009 NFL Season.
41. Houston Texans: James Davis, RB, Clemson
The Texans have Steve Slaton who is more of a speed back than a power back….but he is not yet proven. I like the Texans to take Davis here because he is a very good RB and one of the top ones in the 2009 NFL Draft. I think Davis could help boost the Texans and give them an aspect of the game that they have struggled with…the run game.
42. Miami Dolphins (J. Taylor): D.J. Moore, CB, Vandy
Miami needs help all over again and hopefully this pick pans out because this is what they got for trading away Jason Taylor. I think that Moore is a strong CB and will be successful if he is given some time to develop in the pass packages first. I have him as one of the best CB’s in the 2009 NFL Draft and should end up being good.
